- Develop a prototype strawbale home affordable to Missoula families
at 80% of median income
- Educate potential owner/builders, policy makers, building inspectors,
financial institutions and insurance underwriters about the feasibility
and phenomenal benefits of strawbale construction
- Document the actual cost of building strawbale within the Uniform
Building Code (UBC)
- Demonstrate the benefits of a Community Land Trust as a mechanism
to provide permanently affordable housing
- Provide job training opportunities for low income women through
workshops and hands-on training
