Profile
DECAM is an award winning, nationally recognized Army organization committed to environmental excellence. Their mission is to "manage, conserve, and demonstrate sound stewardship of the public trust for the environmental resources under our responsibility while providing for the sustained and enhanced opportunity to accomplish the military training mission." Preventing oil spills, proper management of hazardous materials and living with endangered species are a few of their focus areas. The new sustainability management system adopted by the installation is another.
