A number of agencies provide pollution prevention assistance, education
and services to individuals and businesses in EPA Region 8. To accomplish
this, Peaks to Prairies provides the following forums: |
- Annual Roundtable - The
advisory board and invited guests meet once a year to set pollution
prevention goals, report on progress and make plans for the future.
Records of past roundtables are provided here.

- Regional Projects List - The Center
collects information on pollution prevention initiatives and provides
an overview and contact information. Agricultural P2 initiatives from
around the region are summarized in the Ag
Projects database.

- Regional News and Events
- P2 news and events of regional interest are collected and published
in a digest that can be syndicated to agencies both within and outside
the region. The archive offers
a search of past articles.

- Region 8 P2 Advisory Board - Representatives of the P2 program
in each Region 8 state participate in bi-monthly conference calls to
discuss issues and guide the Center in regional priorities.

The list serve promotes understanding of how preventing pollution can
be incorporated into everyday operations and activities. With more than
200 subscribers, it encourages cross-agency communication.
