A Guide for Auto Body Shops: in English
Abstract: Hazardous wastes produced in auto body shops include spent solvents, thinners, still bottoms, waste paint and waste antifreeze. If improperly managed, these wastes may threaten worker safety, damage the environment, or put entire communities at risk. This booklet is geared to Washington State but is widely applicable.

Autobody Paint Booth Arrestor Filter Waste Characterization
Abstract: Final Report on spent paint booth arrestor filters. Thirty autobody shops in King County and nine shops in Kitsap County were sampled and tested for heavy metals and persistent halogenated organic compounds (HOCs). The purpose of this study was to determine whether paint booth filters designate as hazardous waste and develop management recommendations.
