Assists Montana citizens, local governments, and businesses in reducing or preventing pollution and managing wastes. The Bureau promotes source reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting; assistas in creating new uses and markets for Montana's waste resources; and educates the public about voluntary ways to manage resources and operations to reduce this pollution.

Office of Outreach and Environmental Assistance - Wyoming Dept of Environmental Quality
The office was created to provide environmental information and assistance to the businesses, municipalities and citizens of Wyoming in a non-threatening, non-regulatory manner. The Office provides a combination of informational and educational environmental services including: a wide range of printed, electronic and video format environmental information; copies of rules and regulations and permitting requirement explanations; public presentations and displays; personal visits to locations statewide; answers to telephone and e-mail inquiries. All services are provided free of charge. The office is staffed with four positions: Small Business Ombudsman, Small Business Assistance Coordinator, Pollution Prevention Program Coordinator, Emergency Response Coordinator.

Partners for a Clean Environment (PACE) - City of Boulder - Environmental Affairs
Voluntary, non-regulatory program offering free pollution prevention education and technical assistance to Boulder County businesses in the form of focus groups, workshops, on-site assessments, education and outreach, certification and recognition programs. The program is a cooperative effort of the city of Boulder, Boulder County Public Health, city of Longmont, Town of Superior and Boulder Chamber of Commerce.
